Queen Latifah stars in this warmly funny remake of the 1950 Alec Guinness film, playing store clerk Georgia Byrd, who, faced with the news that she will soon pass away from an incurable illness, embraces life to the fullest. Traveling to a swanky Czech resort, Georgia meets a legendary chef (Gérard Depardieu) she has always admired. In short order, everyone at the resort soon comes to regard Georgia's life-loving attitude as a true inspiration.
