About the events

Jim Phillips is Alabama historian, speaker, and videographer who specializes in the history of Jefferson County. He holds an Educational Media Masters from UAB, and has worked with people such as Fannie Flagg and Jim Nabors. Mr. Phillips has given over 1400 talks at libraries, historical societies, and education centers on early Alabama history.
